Note:
Adding a node with an index greater than the current size of the children's list causes the node to be added at
the end of the list. This might cause adding subsequent nodes with greater indices than the size to be added in
the wrong order, e.g. adding node1 with index 7 and subsequently adding node2 with index 6 might cause node2 to
be behind node1 if the size of the children list is smaller than 6.
